There are journeys made to see places. And there are journeys made simply to be together.
“We Will Go to Mirdita” is a gentle invitation, like the one whispered to a child before bedtime: Come, let me show you something beautiful.
This experience is an invitation for families who wish to pause for a moment, to truly see one another and the world around them, and to create memories measured not in kilometers, but in feelings.
The first day begins with a simple “Welcome home,” as the journey unfolds calmly, without rush. At Info-Kulla, the first door of storytelling opens, helping the family understand not only where they are going, but why this land feels different.
In Gurth–Spaç, there is no reception desk waiting. Instead, there is a fire lit in the hearth, herbal tea gently boiling, and a small traditional toy offered to your child. Dinner is laid out like it is at home, no menus to read, only food meant to be shared, together.
As night falls, the stars appear. Lanterns are lit.
And a short walk turns into a great adventure, where children carry the light and lead the family toward small surprises along the way.
On the second day, breakfast opens slowly, outdoors, accompanied by the breeze and birdsong. Walking along the paths becomes light and curious. Children stop to look at a stone, an insect, a branch. No one rushes them. Here, stopping is part of the journey.
At a small family farm, everything is real: the animals, the garden, the working hands. Children enter the farm, touch, laugh, and help. A traditional fli (local layered pie) or byrek is prepared together, before their eyes, and lunch is served outdoors, under the open sky.
In the afternoon comes the moment that stays for a long time: the ritual of planting a fruit tree. The tree remains there, as a sign that you were here, that you laughed, and that you left something alive behind.
The evening closes with dinner prepared with the help of the children. Then, around the fire, an elder tells old stories, not to teach, but to remember how, once upon a time, children laughed, hid, and dreamed under the same sky.
On the third day, the final breakfast carries a different kind of calm. There is no hurry. The family receives a memory to take with them, something to see, feel, and savor over time.
The journey ends where it began, but the family does not return the same. Something remains in Mirdita. And something of Mirdita travels back with them.
